About Me

I'm a UI Designer/Developer. I love creating UI (user interface) and thinking about UX (user experience) in the things I create. I’m interested in making the things I create work, whether it be a website or a program I’ve designed. Usually, people are either a good designer or a good programmer/developer. I desire to be both a good developer and designer, but my true love is design.

In 2009 I decided to try my hand at redesigning a friends website, which led me to start playing around in photoshop. I loved it so much that for the next 2 years I taught myself everything I could by going on Youtube and digesting every tutorial that I could get my hands on. After that, I had the opportunity to go back to school and chose the Web Development/IT degree at Flathead Valley Community College.

I've been working in the industry since 2013 when I helped Co-Found a company called DropTrip which finally brought me to Bozeman in 2015 to work on full time. After DropTrip, I attended and completed the Montana Code School in the fall of 2016. There I learned HTML/CSS/JS which stands as the basis for my Front End Development experience.

Out of Montana Code School, I was able to work as an intern in the e-commerce division at Murdoch’s Ranch and Home. There I helped to develop web pages for the companies marketing department.

Since the fall of 2017, I've been working for a company called Zoot Enterprises in the IT Service Desk division where I’ve been learning the ins and outs of the Linux operating system.

In the fall of 2018, I returned to school once again to seek a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Montana State University which I expect to complete sometime in 2021 I also continue to work part-time at Zoot until I graduate at MSU.
